Birmingham Community Charter High School is an independent US public high school accepting international students in grades 10-12. Birmingham Community Charter High School aims to prepare students through innovative and academically challenging curriculums including courses in topics like science, health and business technology. Oak Park High School (OPHS) is a suburban high school in the Eastern Ventura County bordering Los Angeles. It is the only comprehensive high school in the district. OPHS is a California Gold Ribbon School and National Blue Ribbon School that has students from grades 9-12. Over 99% of their students graduate from high school and over 96% of students continue their education in college/university.

Facilities include a performance art centre complete with theatre and music rooms, modernized science classrooms, an arts and technology building, sports fields, classrooms (more than half of them with Smartboards), and campus wide wireless internet.

International students attending Oak Park High School have many sports options to choose from. Sports at Oak Park include cross country, lacrosse, golf and more.
