Money Matters
Australia
Our neighbour across the Tasman is not only the biggest rival for our sporting teams, it’s also a land of sunshine, never-ending beaches, tropical rainforests, the outback, cuddly koalas, kangaroos and of course the spectacular Sydney Harbour Bridge. With a history of more than one million years in the making and with natural beauties like Uluru, Kakadu National Park and the Great Barrier Reef, Australia is country that may be close to home but is vastly unique.
During first three months of my exchange year I’ve learned so much about Australia, people living in here and their culture. I’ve experienced four territories, met numerous amazing people and found new hobbies. I’ve also learned a lot about myself and started to appreciate Finland in a completely new way.
