Twice the Experience - at a Fraction of the Cost
You Host
The 1st leg of the 2WayExchange starts when your family host your Italian exchange partner for 3 months from July – September. Your exchange partner will attend your school or a local school and become part of your family. You will welcome your exchange partner into your family life - with all the rights, responsibilities and privileges of other family members. Hosting is on a voluntary, unpaid basis.
You Go
The 2nd leg of the 2WayExchange starts when you travel to Italy from November – January.
You will attend your exchange partner’s school or a local school and become part of their family. You will be expected to fit in with normal household routines including chores.
You’ll soon be communicating freely in Italian and enjoying a boost in your language skills before you sit your school exams. A big plus for your future studies.
You’ll become immersed in the Italian culture as you attend a local school and enjoy a traditional Italian Christmas.
Having already spent time with your host brother or sister means you will already have an established friendship before you arrive in Italy.
