Money Matters
Poland
Bigger than New Zealand but smaller than NSW, Poland shares borders with seven countries and the Baltic Sea. For such a small country its people have had a huge influence on the world. From music (Chopin and Oscar Hammerstein) to science (Copernicus and Marie Curie), from the arts (Helena Rubenstein and Patricia Arquette) to religion (Pope John Paul II) the Poles have made their mark. Only by going to Warsaw can you float your herbs on the Vistula on Midsummer’s Eve. (Thirty-eight million Poles will know what that means!).
