Yvette Wajon - NSW to Spain
Wed 14 Apr 2010
Yvette Wajon comes from Hunters Hill, NSW. She recently got back from her exchange in Spain and provided us with this summary of her experience:
I had the most incredible trip, probably the best exchange experience out of all exchange students of 09/10, (haha) but really it was the best time of my life. Family was great, and I'm hoping to get back there in April 2011, before and after major exams. Living in Madrid was great, and I was able to get to Barcelona, Besalu and Burgos on Christmas vacation too, full of food, relatives and fun. It was just so great! I have thousands of stories, I couldn't pick one to tell.
I have attached a few photos of the trip, there are literally about 1700 or so, they are all so great! Here are some photos of friends, family and the time I had.
The line of girls are the closer friends I had from school, the photo in the corridor is my family (minus the two little cousins) and as you can see we had a great time, and the photo of Parc Guell and the set of stairs running up is Eva and I, my host sister. The one in front of sagrada Familia is my two sisters, and there is also another photo with Ana (little sister with brown hair) and myself in the military palace where we stayed for a night. The others are probably guess-able so hope you like them.
The english is a slight struggle I must admit, my english teacher keeps telling me I can't write sentences properly, eeeek.
Enjoy the photos, thank you so so so so so much for all of the organisation you did. The other Australian's were great to travel with and we have all become quite close. We are hoping to catch up when we arrive back in Australia and we can all speak in Spanish too.
Once again THANKYOU.
Yvette :)
