Hannah Ling - TAS to France

Hannah, from Launceston in Tasmania, has recently returned from her semester program to France. We recently received an email from her where she told us about the great experience she had and the excellent support she received from the manager of the program to France, Melissa.
She wrote:
"Bonjour Student Exchange Australia!
Comment-vas tu? I hope you are well and surviving the brisk winter temperatures here in Australia! That was the first thing that gave me shock on my return to the country...the incredibly cold weather (haha - I left France in 39 degrees and arrived back in Australia and it was only 14!!!).
I have now safely arrived back home in Tasmania after the long voyage of around 25 hours - it was great to see my family and friends after six months. However, I do already terribly miss the French people and their beautiful country, so I think it will take a few weeks for me to fully settle back into the Australian life again!
I would also like to thank you very much for all your support and guidance during the past six months - you have been incredibly kind and helpful and it was always reassuring to know that you were only an email away!
My time in France was an absolutely incredible experience, and I have many fond memories and amazing new friends that shall rest with me for life - and of course, a second family. But I would like to mention that this correspondence couldn’t have been such a success and gone so smoothly without the fantastic work from you Melissa, and your colleagues at Student Exchange Australia and at Horizon du Mondes in France as well. I thank you all greatly and I'm incredibly grateful to have had such a life enriching experience!!!
I wish you all the best for the future and I'm sure there are already many exciting exchanges in the making - Keep up your great work!"
