To obtain the discount your application and $500 deposit must be received by the relevant deadline shown and you must authorise us to deduct the balance of the program fee from your nominated credit card in 6 regular installments commencing at the time the student is formally accepted on to the program. If a student withdraws from the program prior to departure our normal cancellation policy applies.
Scholarships are available for year and semester applicants only. Short program applicants are not eligible for a scholarship.

| In addition to your completed application form, applicants must write a 1000 word essay entitled “Why Learn French?” (or German, or Japanese, or Italian, or Spanish, for example). The application and essay must also be accompanied by a language teacher’s recommendation form, which may be downloaded from here. |

These Scholarships are named after Rawdon Dalrymple AO, one of Australia’s leading post war diplomats. In addition to your completed application form, applicants must write a 1000 word essay. If you’re in year 9 or 10, the essay is to take the form of a letter starting with “Dear Prime Minister…” and must address a matter of international importance such as the environment or human rights, for example. If you’re in year 11 or 12 the essay is to address a topic of international importance such as global warming or Australia’s trading relationships, for example. Successful written Scholarship applicants receive a substantial discount on the normal program fee. Unsuccessful written scholarship applicants automatically receive the applicable Early Bird Discount if they choose to continue on a fee paying basis. Scholarship applications must be received by the relevant deadline shown and must authorise us to deduct the balance of the program fee from your nominated credit card in 6 regular installments commencing at the time the student is formally accepted on to the program. If an unsuccessful Scholarship applicant chooses not to continue on a fee paying basis their deposit is refunded in full. If a student withdraws from the program prior to departure our normal cancellation policy applies. |

These scholarships are named after Fay Wilmerding who helped establish the student exchange industry in Australia during a career spanning more than 30 years. Three full scholarships valued at up to $10,800 each are available to eligible indigenous students from Australia and New Zealand. Where would you like to go on exchange? Whatever your inspiration, get creative and come up with some designs to make your dreams a reality. Use your imagination and design an image that will stand out from the pack! Are you an artist who can incorporate some hand drawn concepts, or are you more of a whiz with graphics software? Remember that your designs should not only be creative but also look good on a postcard! There are 3 scholarships available each year valued at between $2,500 and $3,500 each. Applicants must accompany their completed application form with an original digital image that depicts the characteristics, culture and beauty of their intended destination, together with a descriptive phrase that is no more than 5 words. All design scholarship entries can be submitted online via our website. Get creative to win and good luck!! |
